Major General Amy S. Courter Joins Dynamic as Chief Operating Officer

We’re very excited to have Amy Courter join us as Dynamic’s Chief Operating Officer. Wait! Make that Major General Amy S. Courter.

From 2007 to 2011, Amy served as National Commander and CEO of the Civil Air Patrol, the civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force, headquartered at Maxwell Air Force in Alabama. She led CAP’s 60,000+ volunteers in fulfilling the organization’s missions in emergency services, cadet programs, aerospace education, and homeland security, while earning the grade of Major General. More recently, Amy was president of the International Air Cadet Exchange Association (IACEA).

Yet this only begins to describe Amy’s remarkably wide-ranging and consequential career to date. She brings over 30 years of experience in information technology and organizational management and leadership to her new responsibilities at Dynamic.

Amy has held professional and executive roles at Youngsoft, VisionIT, Jawood Management Associates (assigned to St. John Health Systems), Valassis, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Over the years, her responsibilities have grown from software support and program management to senior vice president and C-level titles in IT, finance, and sales and marketing.
