The client’s system for molecular pathology had been validated and was nearing product launch when the product development team realized a key technical component connected to the device was nearing the end of its lifecycle. Introducing a next-generation or replacement part at this late stage would require re-validation — delaying the product launch.
Dynamic ensured that the customer had on-hand stock of the component by making a last-time buy of the entire stock available and holding the stock in its warehouse. Dynamic provided comprehensive research and recommendations for available replacement options that met specifications, and integrated those into the customer’s transition change management processes.
The client was able to continue production of the pathology device without interruption. The client evaluated and tested the replacement and was able to seamlessly transition to the new component; eliminating the risk to revenue generation and supply availability.
