The client’s automated staining instrument for tissue diagnostics – comprised of 28 integrated electronic components – had multiple electronic components approaching end of life, which put production of the instrument at risk.
Dynamic provided lifecycle management for all the individual parts in the system, delivering to the client full transparency into all product lifecycle roadmaps, including automated alerts on the EOL dates, changes to EOL dates, or product updates. This; this triggered a proactive change management process; providing a consolidated, real-time view of all lifecycle roadmaps and the status of numerous technology parts connected to the instrument.
Transparent access to EOL data, combined with proactive change management processes, allowed for optimized planning and smooth transitions. Dynamic’s management of details also mitigated stockout and re-validation risks, and kept the fast-changing lifecycle of the digital components aligned with the long and highly regulated lifecycle of the diagnostic instrument.
