Challenge

The client had a very specific, highly customized display solution that went end-of-life as the result of an OEM merger and a strategic change in direction by the supplier. This advanced point-of-care display solution was in high demand for its ability to adapt to multiple clinical settings. Significant time and effort was required to meet the specs and functionality required. The display solution required custom crafting.

Solution

Dynamic conducted comprehensive research on specific LCD technologies; identified, evaluated and vetted each OEM’s capacity to deliver the display on spec, and to match the high quality and compliance standards. With the most qualified display manufacturer identified, Dynamic worked in close partnership with the supplier to secure a 5-year product lifecycle.

Benefit

The client added Dynamic’s custom display to the instrument specifications and relied on Dynamic to manage product inventory levels, provide transparent supply chain risk monitoring, and lifecycle management. The custom-built display became readily available for just in time delivery, decreasing a potential 7–9-month lead time.
