The client’s system, that designed for workflow efficiency, required a specific desktop model, which was going end-of-life. The client required additional time to plan for the product transition and secure the necessary resources — which would involve testing and validation of the new generation.


Dynamic’s automated EOL alerts notified the customer and Dynamic’s internal team members of the upcoming EOL date, triggering a change management process. Based on its forecast, Dynamic secured a large last-time buy of the soon-to-be-obsolete desktop. Dynamic also provided warehousing, inventory visibility, and delivery of the desktop, enable the client to continue shipping the device to their customers.


With the necessary stock on hand, ready to ship, the client mitigated the risk a stockout that would impact their ability to continue shipping devices to their customers — bridging the gap to when a next generation desktop could be identified, procured, tested, validated, and produced. This ensured continuity; saved significant effort, time and costs; and maintained their customers’ loyalty.
