The client required custom transformers as part of its solution. As a result of the pandemic, the custom transformer manufacturer experienced significant impact to its factory operations – presenting a high risk to the client’s ability to get their product to market.
Solution
Based on comprehensive data from its supply chain risk assessment, Dynamic evaluated key factors affecting the availability of the custom transformer. Implementing alternative sourcing strategies, Dynamic coordinated with the sub assembly parts manufacturers, negotiated priority production processing, bought supply ahead of time and expedited distribution. When the manufacturer returned to full operating capacity, there was sufficient supply available.
