After Mr. Fida Bohra left his position at Burroughs Corporation (now Unisys), he founded Dynamic Computer Corporation as a retail store that catered to hobbyists and early adopters of personal computers. Most were Apple customers. Information technology, as well as his company, has moved fast and far since 1979.

Apple entered the education market, and Dynamic won a large contract with the Detroit Public Schools. As personal computing moved into organizations, Fida anticipated the growth in that market. His face-to-face experience with retail users, combined with his corporate background, enabled him to transition his retail operation to a business-to-business firm.

In 2007, Farida Ali succeeded her father, Fida, as Dynamic's CEO. He then served as the company's Chairman until his retirement in 2016.

In advance of industry requirements, Dynamic earned ISO 9001:2008 registration for overall quality management.

Dynamic was selected as a Prime Contractor to U.S. federal and defense agencies under the NASA SEWP V contract, the government-wide acquisition contract managed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). At the time, it was also the largest IT contract awarded by the federal government.

The Lazarus Report
Dynamic Introduces "The Lazarus Report," a Quarterly Publication Devoted to Product End-of-Life Issues. Dynamic's inaugural issue of THE LAZARUS REPORT features a number of timely news items related to product lifecycle management, as well as an in-depth commentary on how the shift from Intel's x86 processor to an ARM platform is redefining technology lifecycles.
